There are nine Thai Ridgebacks that call the Land of Bellehound their home. One ridgeless Thai who is my Service Dog (Bruiser), and seven ridged Thai Ridgebacks, (Mooshu, Mulan, Raba, Sylvia, Cricket, Batman & Piglet). Tradgically we lost HF/FX LookNook (the Mother of Raba, Sylvia, Cricket, Batman, Piglet, Tito & Sparrow) to the tainted dog food recall, February 1, 2007.

| Bellehound's Scrawny Tawny Lion "Bruiser" is the 1st Thai Ridgeback Service Dog in America. He has been nominated for the AKC 2005 ACE EXCELLENCE AWARD for saving me from a rattlesnake last October (2004). He also recieved a Certificate of Honor from the AKC. He was nominated again in 2006 and recieved a certificate of honor.
| | I am also very proud of my 1st International Champion Bellehound's Little Red Dragon "Mooshu" pictured above.
| | I believe in educating the public about this Royal Breed from Thailand. We tell prospecting buyers about the cons and pros in this breed.
| | I believe in being upfront about all the health issues that plague this primitive breed.
| | I believe that it is better to educate people before they buy, that way less dogs are likely to wind up in rescue.
| | I believe that if you can't rescue then you shouldn't breed. If all breeders followed this simple rule, there wouldn't be thousands of dogs put to death every year. | | To find out more about this unique breed please follow the link below to the Association of Thai Ridgeback Owners & Fanciers, or drop us an email. | | Thanks in advance for taking the time to read up and do your homework before you buy!
